Just wanted to let you know that our little Felix was born on Monday the 26th. (3.5 kilo, 54 cm, very calm personality)
It was a fantastic experience. Heavy contractions started around 9 or 10 pm and he was out at 1am! the midwife was only at our apt for 20 minutes before he came out. wow! it was so relaxing to birth at home and i might even start a home birth advocacy group to spread the word!
A lot of the tips and tricks we talked about came in handy and that BEAN BAG was my life saver at the end. most of all, just trusting myself and the natural process is what i took with me from our sessions and what guided me through it. claus was a star and very supportive as well. i feel quite high from the experience. maybe even could consider a 3rd! (just kidding Claus).
